General Guidelines for Submitting Articles to the Journal of Accounting and Tax (JAT)

1. Article Authenticity and Originality

  • Every article submitted by the author to the editorial team of Journal of Accounting and Tax (JAT) must be an original scientific work produced by the author himself or a team of authors, without copying or imitating the scientific work of other parties. The article must be free from plagiarism in any form, either in whole or in part. In addition, the submitted article must not have been previously published in other journals, print media, or other online platforms and must not be in the process of being submitted for publication elsewhere when submission to JAT is made.

2. Scope and Focus of Discussion

  • Articles submitted for publication in JAT must be closely related to the field of business and management science, in accordance with the scope of this journal. Authors can submit articles in various forms of scientific writing, including

    • Report of empirical research results conducted by the author;

    • Literature review or critical review of previous relevant and actual research results;

    • Development of new methodologies or approaches that can be applied in the business and management realm, both in theoretical and practical contexts.

3. Compliance with Writing Guidelines

  • To ensure quality and uniformity in publication, every article submitted must follow all the provisions stated in the writing guidelines set by JAT. These guidelines consist of three main components, namely:

    • General guidelines, which explain the administrative and ethical requirements of the manuscript;

    • Article structure guidelines, which regulate the systematic arrangement of the article's sections;

    • Writing format guidelines, which include technical rules such as font usage, spacing, citation style, and referencing system.

4. Procedures and Flow of Manuscript Submission

  • Submission of articles for publication purposes in JAT can only be done online through the journal's official website. Authors are required to first register as users on the electronic journal management system (Open Journal System) via the following link:

    After the registration process is complete and the author's account has been activated, the author can upload articles directly through the system by following the available submission flow.
