AUTHOR GUIDELINES
JANITA: Journal of Community Service welcomes the submission of original manuscripts that have not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Manuscript Scope
Manuscripts should be based on community service activities and applied research that contribute to community empowerment and development, in accordance with the journal’s focus and scope.
- Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized as follows:
- Title
- Author(s) name and affiliation
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–5 words)
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (optional)
- References
- Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English. Authors are encouraged to ensure proper grammar and readability.
- Formatting
- Manuscripts should follow the journal template
- Use standard academic formatting
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
- Length: approximately 8–15 pages
- References
- References must be relevant and up-to-date
- Use a consistent citation style (APA recommended)
- At least 10 references are required
- Use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote
- Originality and Plagiarism
Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
- Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system. Authors must complete all required metadata during submission.
- Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
- Copyright
Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article.
